China to hold

cultural,

industrial fair

in Pakistan

LAHORE: Provincial government of Shan Dang, Peoples Republic of China will hold a cultural and industrial exhibition in Lahore this year for introducing the cultural aspects and industrial progress of the province to the Pakistani people.

This was disclosed by the Vice-Mayor Faong Ming Ling of indstrial city Zabieu of Shan Dang province with Punjab Information, Culture & Tourism Minister Mehr Saeed Ahmad Zafar, here on Friday.

The minister observed that Pak-China friendship has stood the test of time and both the countries are benefitting from each others experiences in various fields especially science and technology which is proving very fruitful to both the nations. He said that visit of a delegation from Shan Dang is a welcome step as such exchanges of cultural and industrial delegations will promote friendship between the two countries.

He also expressed the hope that the proposed industrial and cultural exhibitions will go a long way in introducing the cultural aspects and industrial progress of Shan Dang province to the people of the Punjab.

The leader of the delegation said that they have selected Fortress Stadium and Alhamra Art Centre Lahore for holding the proposed exhibition.
