SARGODHA: Three persons were killed while four were injured on Friday when a bomb exploded in a rear portion of a Faisalabad-bound bus near Chak No. 46 SB some 25 kilometers from here. Three injured, reported to be in precarious condition, were immediately rushed to Allied Hospital.

According to details a bus No. JMA-7585 carrying 18 passengers departed from GTS stand few minutes prior to its fixed time and when it reached a drainage bridge near Chak No. 46. SB at 6 am a bomb of moderate intensity exploded in rear part of the bus. Five persons of a family fell victim, Mussarat Perveen w/o Mohammad Sharif and her daughter Saadi (10) of Statellite Town, Sargodha, were burnt alive and Muhammad Riaz son of Muhammed Amir residents of Thatti Bala Raja (Jhang) before any treatment from Rural Health Centre Chak No. 46 SB.
