Lahore next month

KARACHI: An International Business Conference to be held in Lahore between September 21 to 23 and organized by Pakistan Business Forum (PBF) will attract foreign investment in Pakistan.

This was stated by Tanveer Ahmed Magoon, chairman PBF while talking to Chairman Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) S. M. Yahya here on Tuesday.

Magoon said the conference which is scheduled to be inaugurated by the President Leghari, will attract investment from Muslim countries.

He said that more than 200 foreign Muslim investors along with overseas Pakistanis will also attend the conference, adding that overseas Pakistanis were willing to invest more than Rs 3 billion (100 million dollars) in Pakistan.

He said PBF had already helped in setting up of Shifa International Hospital at a cost of Rs 420 million and Institute of Leadership Management, costing more than Rs 20 million.

Yahya assured full cooperation on behalf of industrialists in KATI to the visiting PBF delegation.-APP
