Kabul warned
against future
airspace
violations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday warned the Rabbani government that if its aircraft violate Pakistan airspace again Kabul be prepared for serious consequences.
Charge d'Affaires of Afghanistan was summoned to the Foreign Office and served a strong protest over the "unprovoked" violation of airspace and bombing of Pakistan territory. He was also asked to pay damages for the destruction of a school building the Afghan aircraft hit on Tuesday.
On August 22, Afghan airforce violated Pakistan. The four violations as following took place:
1. 1025 hours: Afghan aircraft entered Pakistan airspace and dropped four bombs causing damage to a school.
2. 1100 hours: Afghan aircraft entered Pakistani airspace in the Shadal Post on Durand Line. No damage was caused.
3. 1105 hours: Afghan aircraft entered Pakistan airspace over Mulaband and Kandew area near Gulbazran Village in Kurram Agency and dropped bombs causing damage to forest and crops.
4. 1430 hours: Aerial bombing around the Balahisar post.
The Afghan CDA was told by the Foreign Office to inform Kabul that it should desist from using Pakistani airspace and territory for settling the Afghan rivalries.
