LAHORE: Gunpat Road paper market stayed firm despite rumours that local paper manufacturers are going to dump their products in the market through the backdoor at comparatively low price.

But paper traders denied that mills had been selling the paper at prices lower than dealeship rates. They were of the view that these were the hoarders who were selling paper and board at the lower prices.

However, brisk buying was observed and turnout was comparatively high in otherwise quiet trading.
