ISLAMABAD: The sixth round of Government-MQM(A) talks will be held on August 29 (Tuesday) at Governor House, Karachi, at 4 p.m., said N.D. Khan, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs here on Tuesday night.

Talking to APP, the minister said August 29 was the first available date for talks as the National Assembly session will be prorogued on August 28.

The minister said the member of the government negotiating team Zuhair Akram had informed Ajmal Dehlvi about the date and venue of the talks on telephone in Karachi at 6 p.m and then again at 8 p.m Tuesday.

The minister said the venue of the talks has been decided on the desire of the ALtaf group team.

The minister said a two-hour meeting of the government negotiating team was held here on Tuesday afternoon which discussed matters relating to talks and took decisions.-APP
