DHAKA: Bangladesh taka closed at 40.1990/40.1995 to a dollar compared with 40.1950/40.1990 previously in interbank trading, dealers said.

Dealers said the market was active on import-related demand for dollar and othercrosses.

The interbank call money rates closed at 3.0 percent to 3.75 percent against 3.0-3.5 percent previously.-Reuter
