DHAKA: Bangladesh has re-tendered to import 12,500 tonnes of white sugar after bids on Saturday were rejected, officials said.

Officials of the state-owned Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation said the tender would close on August 26.

They said the cargo should arrive at Bangladesh port by October 28.-Reuter
