PAF capable of

foiling outside

offensive: Khattak

QUETTA: The Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Mohammad Abbas Khattak has said that Pakistan Air Force is fully capable to foil any attempt of belligerance on the motherland and would prove the trust bestowed upon them.

He was addressing the faculty members and students officers at the Command and Staff College here on Sunday morning.

The Air Chief said neither the abundance of the resources nor the comfort of large arsenals that assures success in war but it is combination of resolve determination, bold efficient and intelligent use of available assets and the willingness to undergo any amount of hardship that assures success to which PAF is quite capable of, he added.

He said the PAF plans and executes rigorous training in near realistic environments and has achieved dedicated professionalism and is fully prepared to meet the challenges.

He spoke elaborately on the geo-political and strategic environments and the future air threat precautions.

Earlier on arrival at the Command and Staff College, received by the College Commandant Major General Saeed uz Zafar and was introduced to the directing staff he then met the commandant in his offices and discussed with him matters of professional interest.

Later while departing to the PAF base Samungli the air chief was seen off by the Corps Commander Lieutenant General Zia Ullah Khan alongwith senior officer of the Quetta Garrison at PAF base.-PPI
