Steady outlook on

grain markets

KARACHI: Mainly steady outlook was marked on the seed and grain markets where few changes transpired in seeds and cereals. Guwar, grams, rice and sugar sectors remained pegged to their previous levels.

On the seeds sector, rapeseed Mirpurlane shed Rs 5, as supplies replenished. N T Sawgin also turned weaker by Rs 3 to Rs 5, for the same reason.

Cereals saw variations is masoor dal (Punjab) which gained Rs 50, moong (Punjab) which rose by Rs 25, tuver (Sindh) which shed Rs 25.

On the coarse grains sector, guwar stayed put, but bajra rose by Rs 25.
