QUETTA: A gang of eight gun runners has been busted near Quetta and foiled its attempt at smuggling arms and ammunitions to Sindh especially Karachi for committing acts of violence, subversion and terrorism. Customs quarters confirmed here on Saturday that the seized arms and ammountions included rifles, klashnikovs, magazine, TT pistols, and several hundred rounds besides other lethal weapons.

The seizure followed exchange of fire between the Task Force and the gun runners.

After heavy exchange of fire one customs sepoy sustained bullet injuries.

Also recovered from them was drug meant for sale at Karachi in the interior of Sindh.
