Khan in urged to the cancellation of all orders of the APP management regarding the dismissals/forced retirements and transfers of the APP employees all over the country, besides the setting up of an enquiry committee to probe into the affairs of the national news agency.
The Executive Council has extended its full cooperation to the Federal Information Secretary, Haji Muhammad Akram, Chairman of the Enquiry Committee, in finding out the hidden facts particularly with regard to the illegal appointment of more than 85 persons, made in the APP from the day Chaudhry Rashid Ahmad took over as Executive Director of the APP, on deputation from the Press Information Department.
