JAKARTA: Indonesian rubber prices stayed unchanged in the late session, with no known trades, but dealers were optimistic demand would pick up next week.
"I think prices should improve next week because there have been several enquiries from dealers," one dealer said. "I expect purchases from the US and Eastern Europe."
Tyre-grade SIR20 was on offer at in Medan at around 53.00 US cents/lb, down from 54.00-54.50 cents/lb.
"There have been enquiries at 52.50 cents but no one was willing to sell at that level," another dealer said.-Reuter
