ISLAMABAD: The cancellation of Enron contract worth over two billion dollars with Indian govrnment was a serious shock to Indian stock market and to Overseas investors, said BBC TV in its News on Friday.

The Hindu nationalist BJP said, that bribery was involved in awarding of the contract and that it will make foreign consumers goods an issue during next year country-wide elections. BBC said 300 electricity projects are now being questioned.

But despite Enron, BBC said, investment is flowing in.

But the confidence cannot be instilled in the investors unless and until the sag of Enron is wrapped up.-APP
