to attend ECO

chamber moot

KARACHI: A businessmen delegation consisting of 6 prominent and leading industrialists of Pakistan leaving for Tehran (Iran) to attend 3-day third ECO Chamber General Meeting, according to a press release issued by FPCCI on Wednesday.

The delegation will be led by Iftikhar Ali Malik, Acting President FPCCI. S.M. Muneer, will join the delegation to lead the Pakistani team on his way back from Japan.

The delegation will comprise of Sheikh Jamil Mehboob Magoon, Vice President FPCCI, Farrukh Hameed Bhatti, Member Managing Committee FPCCI and Mehmood Ahmed, Member Zonal Committee FPCCI.

This ECO meeting will focus on enhancing cooperation between ECO countries and important decisions of the appointment of Secretary General, Election Board of Directors, appointment of draft committee and agenda for the year 1995-96 will be discussed and decided. It is hoped that the participation of Pakistani businessmen will enhance the possibility of economic cooperation, boost two-way trade to strengthen cultural and religious ties.
