HYDERABAD: The Chairman Hyderabad SITE Association Mazharul Haq has condemned the exclusion of Hyderabad SITE Association from the Provincial Industries Facilities Board and said that it appeared as if the government is not interested in resolving the problems of the industrial units located at Hyderabad SITE.

In a statement issued here on Thursday he said that Hyderabad SITE was registered body duly licensed by the federal government under the Trade Organisations Ordinance and it had every right to be represented on the Provincial Industries Facilities Board to identify the problems of the industries of interior and seek their redressal.

He pointed out that at the divisional industries facilities board meeting held at Hyderabad on October 11, 1993 he had been informed by the divisional commissioner and chairman of the divisional board that Hyderabad SITE had been included in the provincial board. However, he added that he had not been invited to attend the meeting scheduled for today (Thursday).

Haq has also sent a telegram to the Sindh Chief Secretary who is also the Chairman of the Provincial Facilities Board protesting against the exclusion of Hyderabad SITE from the board.
