Bullish trend persists

LAHORE: Values on the Lahore Stock Exchange showed bullish trend again on Thursday as investors covered positions at the overnight levels for the new settlement period. It is the 2nd day of new settlement delivery period, leading shares came in for active support at the still attractively higher levels and generally ended further higher amid thinly traded session. The run-up was, therefore, not confined to any particular sector but was equally participated by all the sectors, although blue chips rose under the lead of PTC shares.
