ISLAMABAD: On the directive of the Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto five corporations of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, namely Oil and Gas Development Corporation (OGDC), Pakistan State Oil (PSO), Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Company (SSGC), and Pak Arab Refinery Company (PARCO) have donated an amount of Rs ten million each as the contribution towards prime minister's flood relief fund. The amount will be spent on the rehabilitation and welfare of flood affectees.

Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Anwar Saifullah Khan, took keen interest to expedite the release of cheques by these organizations and five cheques of Rs 50 million have been handed over to the cabinet division by the ministry.-PPI
