Maulvi Abdul Haq's

death anniversary

observed

KARACHI: The 34th death anniversary of Baba-e-Urdu Maulvi Abdul Haq was observed on Wednesday.

On behalf of people of Karachi, the Administrator KMC, Fahim Zaman Khan, laid a floral wreath at the Mazar of Baba-e-Urdu and offered Fateha.

On the occasion Quran Khawani was arranged at the office of Anjuman Taraqi-e-Urdu Pakistan.

Floral wreaths were laid at the Mazar of Maulvi Abdul Haq on behalf of Pakistan Writers Guild (Sindh Region), Urdu Arts and Science colleagues and other bodies.

Anjuman Taraqi-e-Urdu Pakistan also arranged a lecture which was delivered by Dr. Farman Fatehpuri. Chief of the Anjuman, Noor-ul-Hasan Jafri presided.-APP
