Dunn Transferred

to Hong Kong

KARACHI: After spending over six years in Pakistan J. Dennis Dunn, Country Manager of American Express Bank, Pakistan and Regional head for South Asia has been transferred to Hong Kong as Country Manager, Hong Kong says a press release.

In addition, he will have regional responsibility for all the bank's institutional business in Taiwan, Korea, Japan, People's Republic of China and the Philippines.

During his tenure in Pakistan, American Express Bank's operations here expanded considerably. The Bank's capital and balance sheet more than doubled, and in 1993 a fourth branch was set up in Faisalabad. In conjunction with the Packages Group and IFC, AEB was the first foreign bank to open an investment bank headquartered in Lahore.

Dunn has served as a Director and Member of the Business Committee of First International Investment Bank for the past five years. He was also a post Board Member of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry.-APP
