KARACHI: The real Independence Day of Pakistan is 27th Ramazan. This was stated by Hakim Mohammad Said while addressing a Hamdard Naunehal Assembly's colourful function held on14th August morning at a local hotel in Karachi, says a press release.

He said "we celebrate Independence Day on August 14 because government does so and to honour government's action is our obligation.

However, Pakistan - A God gifted state - came into being in the sacred month of 27th Ramazan, he added. He said that the sermon of the last pilgrimage was a glorious menifesto of human rights and brotherhood and UN Charter was an outcome of its influence.
