Few changes on

grain markets

KARACHI: Sharp gains were observed on the seed and grain markets on Tuesday, whee changes were few.

Seeds and rice sectors did not undergo any change.

Sugars maintained the previous levels though gur (inferior variety) rose sharply by Rs 200 and Khandsari (better quality) rose by Rs 50.

On the cereals sector moong (imorted) turned higher by Rs 50 but urad (Burma) and wheat lost modestly by Rs 5 each.

Coarse grain guwar rose sharply, gaining between Rs 11 and Rs 14 and gram garde was up by Rs 25 amid high demand.
