steady vs dollar

DHAKA: The Bangladesh taka closed steady at 40.1990/40.2000 to the dollar against the previous 40.1990/40.1995 in interbank trading, dealers said.

Dealers said few deals were done in a market partially disrupted by a six-hour strike called to mourn the killing of the country's independence leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1975.

Interbank call money rates were steady at 3.0 percent to 3.25 percent.-Reuter
