named in FIR

for killing six

KARACHI: New Karachi police have registered a FIR against Altaf Hussain and 14 other leaders on the killing of six persons whose bodies were found from a Coaster coach on Monday morning.

The FIR stated that Altaf Hussain, Ali Raza, Sector Incharge of New Karachi, and Irshad Baig planned the killing and ordered Naeem Sherry, Nadeem, Jawed, Abrar, Waqar, Babu, Rashid Dhobi, Sana Siphai, Rashid Wadood, Nashir, Nadeem and Wasim Qureshi to kidnapped the persons and kill them.

According to the police the FIR No. 427/95 has been sealed.

In the worst act of terrorism which took place in New Karachi, an 11-member gang of terrorists kidnapped the deceased - all from New Karachi and adjoining Buffer Zone - drove them to an isolated place, blind-folded them, tied their hands and legs and killed them in cold blood.

The killers then loaded the bodies in a snatched Coaster (CE-2382), drove it into a narrow street in New Karachi's sector 11-J and abandoned it there.

The terrorists then telephoned the New Karachi police station that the van loaded with bodies was parked in Secctor 11-J. Police said that all were hit in the head with KK rifle.

Terrorists also left notes on two separate chits. Both read: "An Independence Day gift for Naseerullah Khan Babar".

A similar note was also found from the outfit of another victim Sooba Masih, an ASI of Pakistan Qaumi Razakar.

Police claimed that it had found the place where the kidnapped persons were slain.

According to the FIR, the killers implemented the instructions of Altaf Hussain.

Details available said the killers numbering 11 or 13 were riding bikes and wore black dresses. They intercepted Toyota Hiace van (CE-2382) in Buffer Zone area at 11.45 p.m. on Sunday. They asked the driver at gun point to get away. He ran for his life and went straight to Buffer Zone police station to report the matter.

The same group then went to the house of one Zulfikar (40), son of Karamat Ali, in Sector 11-J, Datanagar, New Karachi, and took him with them forcibly. They then kidnapped Sooba Masih (45) son of Sardar Masih, an ASI of Pakistan Qaumi Razakar, from his house DN-46 in the same locality.

After kidnapping the two, the armed men kidnapped four more persons Abdul Rahim (18), Abdul Hamid (52), Yaqub (20) and Abdul Wahid (20). They were taken to a desolate place and shot by firing bursts. Their bodies were then brought to 'UP Maur' where the coach was parked and dumped in the coach at about 4 a.m.

The police, which claimed it was already looking for the kidnapped persons and the coach, found the vehicle parked in a by-lane near Sarwar Shaheed School.

The chit found from the pocket of Sooba Masih said: "Mohajir Tiger Force ki taraf say Naseerullah Babar ko chouda August ka tohfa mubarak ho."-APP
