PESHAWAR: The Governor NWFP, Maj Gen. (Retd.) Khurshid Ali Khan has said there is a need for a revival of the same spirit of unity and affinity which once had been the hallmark of the valiant pioneers of the Pakistan movement.

Their footsteps, their way of life and principles should be adopted in a pragmatic manner if we wish to make Pakistan stronger and more secure. The day demands that we rise above prejudices and biased reservations, by creating an environment of unity in our ranks, downtreading the feelings of parochialism and ethnicism and streamlining the atmosphere with brotherhood, peace and tranquility.
