ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has expressed her heartfelt condolences over the drowning of 25 persons as a boat capsized in river Jhelum on Friday.

In a condolence message, the Prime Minister expressed her sympathies for the bereaved families.

She said, while it was not possible to compensate for the precious loss of human lives, the Government would provide Rs 50,000 to the legal heirs of the deceased.

The Prime Minister has prayed to Allah Almighty to place the departed souls in eternal rest and grant patience to the breaved families to bear the loss with fortitude.-APP
