47 drowned
as boat capsizes
in river Jhelum
ISLAMABAD: Forty seven people drowned in Friday's motor boat capsizing in river Jhelum near Bhaira, district Sargodha, according to a PTV news report.
The motor boat was carrying passengers from Mandar Patan to Bhaira when it capsized after hitting a pillar of motorway bridge.
Three bodies have so far been recovered, the report added.-APP
