Aideed agrees to

Pakistanis if his

govt is recognised

MOGADISHU: The Somali warlord, General Mohammad Farah Aideed has agreed to release 12 Pakistani firshermen provided Islamabad recognises his government.

The 12 Pakistani fishermen have been in the custody of Aideed's forces for the last four months.

A spokesman of Gen. Aideed said these fishermen had violated the Somalian sea.

They would be released if Pakistan recognised General Aideed's government. No country of the world has so far recognised his government in Somalia.-PPI
