LAHORE: The Muslim Commercial Bank Staff Union of Pakistan (CBA) has entered into an agreement with the bank's administration for the increase in salaries of the employees.

The agreement was signed after marathon negotiations between the Union and the Management.

President of the Union Syed Safdar Ali Naqvi addressing a big gathering of the bank workers highlighted the salient features of this agreement. Naqvi said that there was 33 percent increase in the salarie of the employees.

The house rent has been increased from 80 percent to 95 percent.

Similarly, other allowances including medical allowance, motorcycle advance, conveyance allowance, education allowance, special duty allowance have also received handsome rise.

The Union president said that the bank staff from grade II to VII benefited overall 48 percent increase. He elaborated that in this way the bank employees would get the benefit from Rs 2200 to 4700.

He expressed the hope that workers will show full unity in future to safeguard their own interests.
