Bokhari takes

command of

PN fleet

KARACHI: Rear Admiral Fasih Bokhari formally took over the command of Pakistan Fleet from Vice Admiral Shamoon Alam Khan at an impressive ceremony here on Tuesday, ISPR sources said.

On arrival at PNS Abdoze Ground PN Dockyard, Admiral Fasih Bokhari was received by the out-going Commander Pakistan Fleet. He inspected a smartly turned out guard of honour and was introduced to the officers of Fleet Staff, Type Commanders and Commanding Officers. In addition to the guards, platoons formed from amongst Fleet Units were also paraded on the occasion.

Later, the out-going Commander Pakistan Fleet Vice Admiral Shamoon Alam Khan inspected farewell guard of honour and was rowed ashore in a whaler by Type Commanders of the Fleet as per Naval tradition.-APP
