Foreigners net sellers of Thai stocks

BANGKOK: The rounded breakdown of Thai stock market trading values on Monday.

Total turnover was 5.63 billion baht ($131.4 million).

<B><font color=blue>FOREIGN INVESTORS: </font></b>Bought: 1,833.53 million baht.

Sold: 2,077.37 million baht. Net Position Sold: 243.84 million baht.

<B><font color=blue>RETAIL INVESTORS: </font></b>Bought: 3,216.30 million baht.

Sold: 2,900.52 million baht. Net Position Bought: 315.78 million baht.

<B><font color=blue>DOMESTIC INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS: </font></b>Bought: 576.01 million baht.

Sold: 647.95 million baht. Net Position Sold: 71.94 million baht.

Foreign investors have been net buyers of 2.52 billion baht of Thai stocks so far this year.

Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) data showed they were net buyers of 14.34 billion baht of Thai equities in 2002.
