Kulsoom warns of resistance if justice not done with Nawaz
RECORDER REPORT
LAHORE: Begum Kulsoom Nawaz has said that PML will resist strongly, if the courts failed to do justice with her husband.
Talking to newsmen after addressing the party workers belonging to NA-93 and NA-96, at her residence here on Monday, she said that she had no intention to join politics, nor would she allow her children to enter the arena. However, she added, she would go home after acquittal of Nawaz Sharif in the aircraft case.
Commenting on the arrest of Ch. Tanvir Ahmed Khan in Rawalpindi, Kulsoom said that the current state of affairs was worst than it was during the martial law regimes, as the political leaders were not being allowed even to address their party meetings and conventions. "I have the full support of the party workers and activists, who are ready to render any kind of sacrifice for the sake of the country and democracy," she claimed.
Kulsoom said that General Pervez Musharraf should quit the government forthwith.
