India soon to
get advanced
jet trainers
ISLAMABAD: India is close to acquiring advanced jet trainers which the Indian air force has been demanding for a long time, Door Darshan television reported.
Indian Defence Minister George Fernandes said in Bangalore that the jet trainers will be acquired without further delay.
He told reporters that the Ministry of Defence has now reached a stage of deciding on the type of aircraft as well as the terms to be framed for the purchase.ÑAPP
