Safe air to set up technical workshop

KARACHI: Pakistan private airline Ñ Safe Air Ñ will establish a technical workshop for maintenance and repairing Russian planes with technical assistance from the Russian federation.

An agreement in this regard was signed between deputy speaker of Russian parliament and deputy director General Civil Aviation and others officials of Safe Air. According to the agreement, the airline will get two new TU-154 airplanes from Russia whose pilots and other crew will be Pakistani and will be properly trained in Russia.

The Chief Executive of Safe Air Captain, Tariq Mehmood said that the workshop will also provide technical assistance to other Pakistani private airlines having Russian aeroplanes.
