PSMA to estimate sugar production

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA) would soon hold a meeting to firm up final estimate about the production of sugar in 1999-2000.

The Association held a meeting in Lahore a few days back to assess the sugar production, but it could not finalise estimate due to non-availability of latest data of sugarcane supply, its crushing and production of sugar by the mills throughout the country, a source said.
