Police mobiles to be equipped with first aid kits

KARACHI: Police mobiles will be equipped with first-aid boxes, stretcher and fire fighting devices, said Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh Aftab Nabi.

Presiding a meeting of the city's police officials he said that these steps are aimed at providing assistance to the general public in emergency cases.

Police will render all services it can under the concept of "Community Policing" he said adding that the citizens can call police in case of water shortage, carrying the injured or patient to hospital in cases of emergency.

He hoped that the service will bring police and public closer and lead to fostering trust in police.

IGP also ordered that community service by police must be extended to all parts of the province including the rural areas. APP
