Literacy commission

LAHORE: The government has decided to form a commission for literacy and education for all to provide education to adults at the grass-roots level.

According to a handout, Punjab Social Welfare and Women Development Minister Shaheen Atiqur Rehman will be the Vice Chairman of the commission.

One tehsil of each eight divisions will be focused in the next financial year.

This will be a sustained and long term education programme, the handout added.
