QUETTA: Former minister of state for labour and manpower Akbar Lasi is reported to have deposited Rs 10 million in government treasury.

The amount was outstanding against him as a contractor of the Balochistan Food Department.

On the instructions of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), he is facing charges of corruption and irregularity, while working as contractor for the Balochistan Food Department.

The NAB is also probing into four more similar cases of the Balochistan Food Department.
