20000304Chemical examination centre offers one-window facility

LAHORE: The Chief Chemical Examiner Office and Drug Testing Laboratory, have started one-window operation for the disposal of pending cases and all the samples would be received at one centre.

Moreover ,signature of the Chief Chemical Examiner (CCE), on each report has been made mandatory for their authentication.

Earlier three centres were receiving samples of poison, excision and blood, and because of these separate centres, the reports were not compiled in time.

Chief Chemical Examiner Dr. Muhammad Athar stated that the Health Secretary Ismail Qureshi had directed to compile all record in consolidated form and preparation of analysis reports in minimum possible time, so as to facilitate people.

He said people would now get blood reports the same day positively, excision reports on the next day, while poison analysis report after ten days.
