RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 48,486 tonnes of cargo, including 40,791 tonnes of import and 7,695 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 34,434 tonnes was dry and 14,052 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Friday are: Chilham Castle, Warnow Trader and Canadian Express.

The ships expected to sail on Friday are: Johanna, Turn Stone and Trenes Honour.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 33,133 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 10,474 tonnes edible oil 11,218 tonnes wheat and 11,441 tonnes iron ore was handled during last 24 hours in addition to 150 container (Teus).

Karimun was sailed on Thursday morning.

Super Sonic and Ladynil were expected to sail on Thursday.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Agha-I, Oinoossian Navigator, Silver Star, Deneb Gas and Fuji Hoshi.

Oinoussian Navigator and Silver Star were expected to take berths at multi-purpose terminal and Engro Paktank Terminal of Port Qasim on Thursday.
