Angry Sikhs
shout slogans
against Advani
in occupied Valley
NEW DELHI: Indian Home Minister Lal Krishan Advani was confronted with angry slogan shouting Sikhs when he visited Chitisinghpura village to mourn those killed last week by Indian security forces to put the onus on Pakistan at a time when President Clinton was to visit Pakistan.
According to the BBC, Sikhs in Chitisinhpura raised slogans and shouted loudly at Indian Home Minister, when he reached there to mourn those killed last week. He was accompanied by the IHK Chief Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, who was mocked by the shouting crowds, the report said.
Meanwhile, four former prime ministers have taken a serious views of the deteriorating law and order situation and escalation of freedom fighter's activities in the Indian occupied Kashmir, report "All Indian Radio."
According to the report, at a meeting in New Delhi, India's four former prime minister expressed their serious concern over deteriorating law and order situation and the recent spurt of freedom fighters' activities in the valley. The meeting was attended by V. P. Singh, Deve Gowda, Chander Shakher and I. K. Gujral, the report said.ÑAPP
