10 of a family gunned down

FAISALABAD: Ten persons of a family including three women and seven children were gunned down by some armed persons in village Thatha Phularwan in Bhalic Police Station area, in the wee hours on Tuesday.

The vendetta of this gruesome murder is reported to be hereditary feud and long-standing enmity between two rival families. Accused Yasin took the revenge from the ill-fated family of the assassination of his father-in-law committed by Hussain Abdullah a couple of years before and accused Yasin was waiting for an appropriate time to take the revenge.

According to police, accused Yasin along with some armed persons scaled into the house of ill-fated Hussain Abdullah at 4 a.m. and started indiscriminate firing on Hussain Abdullah and his family members who were asleep causing instantaneous death of Hussain Abdullah, his wife Jawai Bibi, three daughters Sahiban and Gurya and Nasira Bibi, and five small children Manzoor, Jogi, Noor Mohammed, Zahoor Ahmad, including six-month old kid, Hassan.
