Agri committee meets on 31st

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Committee on Agriculture (FCA) would meet here on March 31 to review the Rabi crops 1999-2000 and prepare production plan with the position of inputs for the for the Kharif crops 2000-2001.

The committee would review the production of Rabi crops wheat, oilseeds, gram, lentils, onions and potato and production targets including acreage would be discussed for next Kharif crops of sugarcane and rice.

The meeting would be chaired by the Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture and would be attended by the provincial food ministers besides the concerned federal and provincial officials.
