Mirwaiz still under house arrest

NEW DELHI: The acting chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, continues to be under house arrest at his Nagin residence in Srinagar.

According to sources, a delegation of Sikhs from Punjab was not allowed to meet him.

However, he had a meeting with Jathedar Bhai Ranjit Singh on Friday during which both discussed situation after the killings of Sikhs in Occupied Kashmir. Both discussed that an atmosphere of confidence should be created between the two communities.ÑAPP
