Hajis from occupied
Kashmir stranded
at Jeddah airport
ISLAMABAD: The Haj pilgrims from the occupied Kashmir valley are stranded at the Jeddah airport for the past two days as the Indian Airlines for best reasons known to them has failed to arrange return flights for the pilgrims, reported Kashmir Media Service (KMS) on Sunday.
According to reports some of the pilgrims are in miserable condition as no arrangements were made by the airlines to provide them boarding and lodging facilities during the awaiting period at the airport.
The pilgrims have exhausted their money and they are forced to sell their belongings to meet the expenses of food and other requirements.
Meanwhile the relatives of the stranded pilgrims were also are not getting any satisfactory information from the puppet government authorities.
It is pertinent to point out that the Hajis from occupied Kashmir had to wait for long at the Srinagar airport at the time of their departure for Jeddah as the scheduled flight had failed to turn up.
To add to their difficulties the relatives of the pilgrims coming to the airport to see them off, had to get a special pass from the District authorities that required long waiting.ÑAPP
