RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi port handled a total 55,337 tonnes of cargo, including 23,699 tonnes of import and 31,638 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 34,063 tonnes was dry cargo and 21,274 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Sunday are: Shalamar, Iran Abad, Fadil Rabi and Sinor Banka.

The ships expected to sail on Sunday are: Atlantic Trader and Kota Wangi.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 31,732 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 4,788 tonnes general cargo, 5,035 tonnes furnace oil, 8,159 tonnes chemicals and 13,750 tonnes iron ore was handed during last 24 hours.

Al-Safa was expected to sail on Saturday.

Following vessels were currently at the outer anchorage.

Agha-I, Nyon, Energy, Heles Pont courage, Effyn, Princess of Peanang and Fabian Schulte.

Fabian Schulte, Princes off Peanang, Effyn and Heles Pont courage were expected to take berths at Qasim International container terminal, Multi-purpose Terminal and Fauji oil Terminal of Port Qasim on Saturday.
