ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has strongly condemned the Indian shelling on AJK villages near cease-fire line (CFL) in Samahni, Nakyal and Poonch sectors and said India believes on use of power and its rulers don't want to resolve Kashmir issue peaceful in order to bring peace to this region.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said that India wants to de escalate tension in the region in order to divert the world attention from Kashmir issue towards the border dispute.

Indian firing near CFL on the occasion of US President Bill Clinton's visit to Pakistan has exposed Ñ her nefarious designs.

He said India by using negative tactics and propaganda wants to dubb liberation movement of occupied Kashmir into a terroristic movement.

But, he added, that international community has realised that Kashmiri people are fighting for their internationally recognised right of self-determination. "It is obligatory on the part of world community to provide moral and material help to Kashmiri people in attaining their right to self-determination."

Terming India a terrorist state, he said that India has became a threat to world peace by its negative and terroristic approach. Besides Muslims other religious minorities, are feeling insecure at the hands of Hindu fanatics in India.

The concern shown by world community on Indian atrocious attitude in Kashmir has proved that India is responsible for creating fuss in South Asia, he said. He called upon international community to take cognizance of Indian aggressive attitude and save the region from imminent nuclear war.

He demanded of world community to impose sanctions on India in order to force it to resolve Kashmir issue, the only point of tension in the region and make the human rights record with regard to religious minorities better.ÑPPI
