HYDERABAD: The elders of Jamari tribe have appealed to the Chief Executive, Sindh Governor, Home Secretary, IG Sindh and the divisional and district administration Hyderabad to take notice of the excesses of the members of Leghari Tribe who had made their lives miserable.

Speaking at a joint news conference at the Hyderabad Press Club on Friday, they said that on January 22 a member of Leghari Tribe was murdered at a marriage party in presence of hundreds of people but the Jamaris were blamed for the murder.

They said three persons belonging to their tribe were named in the murder case, four persons in a false robbery case and two other under section 107/151 Cr.P.C (breach of peace).

They said that since then the members of Jamari Tribe had been confined their homes and they could neither go to hospital nor could their children go to school.

So much, so, they said, that they even could not harvest their sugarcane crop due to fear to their lives. They said that even the buses were being searched for the members of Jamari Tribe.
