Hesco urged
consumers to
clear dues by
month's end

HYDERABAD: Revenue Officer Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) Gari Khata Mehmood Ali Qaimkhani had disclosed that an amount of Rs. 1.38 billion was outstanding against the government sector organisations while an amount of Rs. 385.1 million was outstanding against the domestic consumers. He said this had created a great impediment in the development of Hesco.
He has appealed to all the consumers to clear their outstanding dues positively by end of March failing which their power supply will be disconnected and all the installations will be removed.
He said, cases will be prepared against them and send to the magistrate/recovery Mukhtiarkar to recover the dues, under the Land Revenue Act 1967 through the auction of consumers' properties.
He said that to facilitate the consumers to clear the dues, all the banks and post offices had been authorised by Hesco to receive payment.
