Eight held on charge of illegal construction

FAISALABAD: Local magistrate Irshad Moyeeuddin conducted a raid in the fruit and vegetable market and arrested eight persons on the charge of constructing illegal shops in the market.

The arrested persons include, Javed Ahmed, Nazir Ahmed, Zafar Ali Sarfraz, Allah Ditta, Mohammad Naeem and Arif. A case under section 188 Cr. P.C. has been registered against the encroachers.

The police arrested two persons, Amanat Chohan of Shadi Pura and Riaz Ahmed resident of Allama Iqbal Colony on the charges of selling prize bond numbers to the people. The police also recovered slips of prize bonds from the accused.
